    your use of our personal budgeting platform. We've written
    this in plain English to make it easy to understand.

    2. Definitions
  </h2>
  <ul>

      <strong>"Service"</strong> refers to the EB.app application and all related services provided by
      EB App LLC.
    </li>
    <li>
      <strong>"Budget Data"</strong> refers to the financial information you enter into the Service,
      such as income, expenses, transactions, and categories, including any data derived from AI
      processing.
    </li>
    <li>
      <strong>"Personal Information"</strong> means any information that identifies or can reasonably be
      linked to an individual, such as your name and email address.
    </li>
    <li>
      <strong>"Offers"</strong> means in-app recommendations of our products or affiliate/partner
      offerings displayed in the Offers tab. This feature is available ONLY to free-tier users. Premium
      subscribers do not see Offers. By default, Offers are generated using deterministic, in-app
      analysis of your Budget Data without AI processing. Free-tier users may optionally click "Try AI
      Analysis" to send a budget summary (item names, amounts, categories, account balances, and balance
      projections - NOT detailed transaction history) to Google AI (Gemini API) for personalized offer
      recommendations. This is entirely optional and user-initiated. Google's processing is governed by
      the <a href="https://cloud.google.com/terms/cloud-privacy-notice" target="_blank"
        rel="noopener">Google Cloud Privacy Notice</a> and <a
        href="https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gemini API Terms of
        Service</a>.
    </li>
    <li>
      <strong>"Authorized Financial Account Holder"</strong> means a natural person who is a legal owner
      of, or an authorized signer on, a financial account and who has authority to grant EB.app
      read-only access to that account's data via a bank-link provider (e.g., Plaid).
    </li>
    <li>
      <strong>"We," "us," or "our"</strong> refers to EB App LLC.
    </li>
    <li>
      <strong>"You"</strong> refers to the individual using our Service.
    </li>

    3. Acceptance of Terms

    By using EB.app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't
    agree, please don't use our service.

    <strong>Eligibility:</strong> By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 years of age or
    older. If we become aware that an account is used by someone under 18, we will close the account and
    delete its data.

      AI-assisted budget creation (free with "Bring Your Own
      AI" or integrated for premium)
    </li>
    <li>
      View financial data through charts and reports (free tier: future-looking only; premium:
      historical and future)
    </li>
    <li>Track transaction history (free tier: limited; premium: unlimited)</li>
    <li>Export your data in JSON or CSV formats</li>
    <li>
      <strong>Offers (Free-Tier Only):</strong> A dedicated "Offers" tab that displays in-app affiliate
      recommendations, including products available through the Amazon Associates Program. As an Amazon
      Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This feature includes an optional "Offers AI
      Analysis" where you can explicitly consent to send a budget summary (NOT transaction history) to
      Google AI for personalized recommendations.

    Our Service is designed to function as a manual budgeting tool. Future features may offer optional
    connections to financial institutions to automate data entry. Any such connections will require your
    explicit consent and will be governed by additional terms.

    <strong>We are a budgeting tool only.</strong> Any
    financial decisions you make are your sole responsibility.

    Core budgeting features are free forever, including:

    <li>AI assistance via "Bring Your Own AI"</li>
    <li>Data export capabilities</li>

    Premium Subscription
  </h3>

    <li><strong>Price:</strong> $9.99 USD per month</li>
    <li>
      <strong>Features:</strong> Integrated AI assistant, advanced
      charts, history tracking
    </li>
    <li>
      <strong>Billing:</strong> Handled by our Merchant of Record, <strong>Paddle</strong>
    </li>
    <li>
      <strong>Cancellation & Refunds:</strong> For support with your subscription, or to request a
      cancellation or refund, please contact us at <a href="mailto:billing@eb.app">billing@eb.app</a>.
      You can also manage your subscription directly through the customer portal provided by our payment
      partner, Paddle, via the link in your receipt.

    <strong>Payment Processing:</strong>
  </p>
  <p>
    Our Merchant of Record, Paddle, handles all payment processing, tax remittance, invoicing, and
    refunds. As the legal seller for all transactions, Paddle is responsible for these functions. When
    you purchase a premium subscription, your transaction and payment data are processed directly by
    Paddle under their Buyer Terms. By purchasing, you agree to Paddle's <a
      href="https://www.paddle.com/legal/terms">Buyer Terms</a> and <a
      href="https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy">Privacy Policy</a>.
  </p>
  <p>
    We receive only limited, non-sensitive data such as your name, subscription status, and transaction
    ID to manage your account.
  </p>

    Premium features enhance your budgeting experience with
    seamless AI integration and advanced analytics.

    6. Your Account
  </h2>

    Creating and Securing Your Account
  </h3>
  <p>
    Your EB.app account is created and accessed exclusively through Google Sign-In. By using our
    Service, you agree to keep your Google account information accurate and secure. You are responsible
    for:
  </p>

    <li>Securing your Google account credentials, including its password and any enabled two-factor
      authentication methods</li>
    <li>Keeping your login credentials confidential</li>
    <li>All activity that occurs under your EB.app account</li>
    <li>Notifying us immediately at <a href="mailto:team@eb.app">team@eb.app</a> of any unauthorized
      access to your account</li>
  </ul>

    Individual Use & No Sharing
  </h3>
  <p>
    Your account is intended for use by a single individual. You may not share your Google Sign-In
    credentials with others to allow multiple individuals to access the Service through a single account.
  </p>
  <p>
    <strong>Collaboration:</strong> If you wish to manage a budget jointly with another person (e.g., a
    spouse or business partner), do not share your login details. Instead, please use the designated
    "Budget Sharing" features within the application to invite them to view or edit a budget using their
    own separate EB.app account.
  </p>

  <h3>
    Two-Factor Authentication
  </h3>
  <p>
    For enhanced security, our Service supports Google's 2-Step Verification. We strongly recommend
    enabling this feature on your Google account to protect your EB.app account from unauthorized
    access.
  </p>

  <h3 id="authorized-accounts">
    Authorized Financial Account Holders
  </h3>
  <p>
    If you choose to use optional bank-linking features (such as connecting to your financial
    institutions via third-party services like Plaid), you represent and warrant that:
  </p>
  <ul class="list-style-one">
    <li>You are a legal owner of, or an authorized signer on, each financial account you link</li>
    <li>You have the authority to grant EB.app read-only access to that account's data</li>
    <li>You will not link accounts that you do not own or for which you lack legal authority</li>
  </ul>
  <p>
    You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization before linking any financial
    account. Unauthorized access to financial accounts may violate applicable laws and the terms of
    service of your financial institution.
  </p>

  <h3>
    Account Deletion
  </h3>
  <p>
    You can delete your account anytime through:
  </p>
  <ul class="list-style-one">
    <li>Account settings in my.eb.app</li>
    <li>Emailing team@eb.app</li>
  </ul>
  <p>
    When you delete your account:
  </p>
  <ol>
    <li>
      Your account is immediately marked for deletion
    </li>
    <li>
      All data is permanently deleted from active systems within 24 hours
    </li>
    <li>
      Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days, after which it will be permanently erased
    </li>
    <li>
      You'll receive confirmation when deletion is complete
    </li>
    <li>
      This process cannot be reversed
    </li>
  </ol>

  <h3>
    Account Inactivity
  </h3>
  <p>
    In line with our commitment to data minimization, accounts that have been inactive for a period of
    12 consecutive months and do not have an active premium subscription may be scheduled for permanent
    deletion. We will notify you via email prior to deletion to provide you with an opportunity to keep
    your account active, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

    <li>We never sell your personal data for monetary gain</li>

    Free Users - "AI Budget Creation" (Bring Your Own AI)
  </h3>

    The "AI Budget Creation" feature for free users operates on a "Bring Your Own AI" (BYOAI) model. We
    provide:

  <ul class="list-style-one">
    <li>Structured prompts for external AI services</li>
    <li>JSON import capability for AI-generated budgets</li>
    <li>
      User-Controlled Privacy (Your data is processed locally and is not sent to our servers. You have
      full control over what you copy and share with external AI providers.)
    </li>
  </ul>
  <p>
    You are responsible for complying with the terms of
    service of any external AI provider you use.
  </p>

  <h3>
    Premium Users - Integrated AI
  </h3>
  <p>
    Premium subscribers gain access to integrated AI features designed to streamline the budgeting
    process, including:
  </p>
  <ul class="list-style-one">
    <li>
      Automatic AI budget generation from <strong>uploaded bank statements or connected Plaid bank
        accounts</strong>
    </li>
    <li>
      Intelligent categorization and organization of your financial data
    </li>
  </ul>
  <p>
    <strong>Fair Use Policy:</strong> To ensure service availability for all users, your access to
    integrated AI features is subject to a fair use policy. Your subscription includes a generous amount
    of AI processing sufficient for typical personal budgeting needs. Usage allowances reset at the
    start of each monthly billing period. We reserve the right to manage usage to prevent abuse or
    activities that are not related to personal budgeting.
  </p>

    <strong>AI Control & Consent:</strong>
  </p>
  <p>
    Premium AI features are activated as part of your premium plan setup with your informed consent, and
    can be disabled at any time in your settings. When AI is disabled, no budget data is sent to Google
    AI services. AI processing occurs only when you actively use an AI feature (e.g., uploading a bank
    statement file <strong>or submitting transaction data from a linked bank account</strong> for
    AI-assisted reconciliation or budget creation).
  </p>

  <h3>
    Offers AI Analysis (Free-Tier Only)
  </h3>
  <p>
    Our free tier is supported by an "Offers" tab that displays affiliate recommendations. By default,
    these offers are generated by in-app analysis without AI.
  </p>
  <p>
    <strong>Optional AI Personalization:</strong>
  </p>
  <ul class="list-style-one">
    <li>
      Free-tier users will see an option to "Try AI Analysis" for personalized offers. This is
      <strong>entirely optional and user-initiated</strong>.
    </li>
    <li>
      Before any data is sent, a pop-up modal will explain that a <strong>budget summary</strong>
      (including item names, amounts, categories, and projections, but NOT detailed transaction history)
      will be sent to Google AI.
    </li>
    <li>
      You must <strong>explicitly confirm</strong> in this modal to proceed. If you do not confirm, no
      data is sent to Google AI for this purpose.
    </li>
    <li>
      This feature is not available to premium subscribers, and transaction data from bank-linked
      accounts is never used for Offers.
    </li>
  </ul>

  <h3>
    AI Usage Guidelines
  </h3>

    When using AI features:
  </p>

    <li>Use AI only for budget-related tasks</li>
    <li>
      Don't share sensitive information (SSN, passwords, etc.)
    </li>
    <li>Verify AI-generated budgets before saving</li>
    <li>Verify transaction matches before accepting them</li>
    <li>Report any AI errors or inappropriate responses</li>

    is AI-powered and may produce incorrect results. Always
    review and verify AI-created budgets and transaction
    matches before relying on them.

      Abuse, manipulate, or exploit platform features, reporting
      systems, or moderation processes

    This license ends if you violate these Terms.

    Your Content

    You retain ownership of your budget data. By using our
    service, you grant us permission to store and process your
    data solely to provide our budgeting service.

    Your Responsibilities for Uploaded Data

    When you upload, paste, or connect any financial data, you are responsible for:

      Ensuring you have the legal right to provide the data.

      Redacting sensitive information before providing it (if

    and privacy policies of any external, third-party AI provider you choose to use. We do not control

    <strong>For Premium-Tier Integrated AI:</strong> By uploading a bank statement or connecting a bank
    account for AI processing, you acknowledge that you are providing this data to us to be processed by
    our AI service provider (Google AI) as described in our Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for
    verifying the accuracy of all AI-generated results.

    <li>Disputes between you and any advertiser or financial institution</li>
    <li>Actions taken by Amazon or any other third party in their capacity as independent controllers
